Even sticking to Valve servers, before casual you would sometimes spend hours on the same server with the same people, playing various maps.

Now it's only ever temporary. You might get an occasional rematch, but it's not the same thing and it rarely lasts. You shit out the matches. I do like the increased focus on competitiveness, but the rest of the changes are pretty dubious. I still enjoy it, but being rolled through a multi stage map with half the players the other team has, is also not fun.

I think if you target the way in which you learn to get good early on, you can be pretty decent by 1000 hours.

For example, if, in the near future, you spend maybe 20 hours learning to rocket jump even, you'll see so much improvement in terms of how it opens up your options in games. I didn't learn until maybe 500 hours, and not properly until more recently at 800.

Okay so I put it at the bottom of my list of binds like:

bind "f" "+inspect"
bind "j" "cl_trigger_first_notification"
bind "k" "cl_decline_first_notification"
bindToggle o "r_drawviewmodel"

Doesn't seem to do anything. I also tried it with like bindToggle "o" "r_drawviewmodel"

I think i had bindtoggle before put it didn't work.

Evening all/those in EU.

I recently added:

bind "o" "r_drawviewmodel 1"
bind "p" "r_drawviewmodel 0"

To my list of binds in my cfg and it worked (well, if i turned off viewmodels they reverted back if i switched weapons), but now it seems to do fuck all and won't turn off my viewmodels. Any idea why it's doing this fuckery?

I ll test it for a month or too further and see. Right now it feels golden and I'm pounding (well, in relative terms) on Scout, my main, and my aim feels like it's getting better. Demo and Solly feel good too, so I will monitor.

But don't some top players like Stark use different sens for different classes?

Surely it's just a case of getting use to it, same as it would be if i had one sens?
