#1 Roamer looking for ESEA-O (maybe backup) in Recruitment (looking for team)

So I was going to play with Techn9ne 'n the gang, but that fell through because Tech only plays Rust these days.

I'm looking to play roamer on a mid-high open team (I want to make playoffs). I will play as a backup this season as well, just to get in on a few more scrims here and there. I just built my first PC and I kinda want to use it.

I don't remember what the season number was, but I played roamer in open in 2012 (I was going by the name Vanilla, played with Tone-Pot, Rex, Peyote, Rill, Kirby) and pocket in 2013 (I was going by HereThereBeTygers, played with Urbanshakedown, Rastsy, Mana, Shiki, and I think Spyromancer was our med?).

Add me: https://steamcommunity.com/id/AKsuperfuzz

I would prefer scrimming 2-3 days a week, however I can be available every evening.

EDIT: I'd also consider playing pocket, but I'd prefer roamer.

#41 Critique this whitelist in TF2 General Discussion
corsaIf you were going to change the whitelist drastically, it should fulfill the common desire of making tf2 as fun as possible.

The main question you should ask yourself is "is this weapon annoying to play against, by either ruining the flow of the game or by just being obnoxious?"

which would debateably look something like: http://whitelist.tf/7311

Did I miss an update, or did the gunslinger and mini-sentries get less annoying? Cause I don't want to play against them.

#1 Can't recover ESEA account... in Esports

I'm trying to log into my ESEA account, but it's been quite a few years. I can't just reset the password because I don't have access to the email I used to use. I can't reset the email, because either I didn't set the security questions, or else I'm mis-remembering the email I had on the account (I'm inclined to think it's the latter). Is there a way for me to gain access to my account again? Or is it lost forever?

Or else is there a way for me to disassociate my steamID from the original ESEA account, and create a fresh ESEA account to attach my steamID to? Otherwise I am going to have to create a completely new steam account in order to create a new ESEA account in order to play...

EDIT: I created a new ESEA account and subscribed to premium. With a premium account, I was able to use my steamID, and it removes it from my old, inaccessible account, and applies it to my new esea account. Problem solved, thanks google.

#6 lfp Nameless team in Recruitment (looking for players)

I just played against them while trying out for a different team.

Murk seems like a really solid pocket, and this team is going to be pretty darn good.

#10 Bad Habits from SOAP-DM and/or MGE? in TF2 General Discussion
smesi
Show Content
newbots doesnt help that much, same with most bot maps

you should mostly focus on waddling in dm and try to only jump when you kinda have to, bombing is not good practice

the only bad mge habits i can think of are shotgun denying and counterjumping, counterjumping is fine ingame because sometimes you have to stay alive but in mge its retarded because its a 1v1 and you're jumping away from the fight which doesnt help that much, shotgun denying is kinda dumb specially with people that use gunboats on both pocket and roamer.

like most people i use shotgun in mge but if the other person is running gunboats i'll happily switch since its good for rocket aim

as much as i dislike playing with people that do stuff like playing in cheap spots in mge (ie metal on spire) or do the thing where you rocket jump and you switch to shotgun, if you're actually thinking of doing that shit in actual games, go for it althought it might not be the best practice
it doesnt really matter how you play mge or dm what matters is that you "translate" the dm you get from mge/soap dm into actual games

you should also try playing jump maps or surfing since it also helps with your dm, i would mostly recommend jump maps since you're a soldier main but surfing is still super helpful

What do you mean by "waddling"?

I've always done jump maps, so I guess I neglected to mention them because for me, it was implied. Jumping is my strongest skill at the moment.

#5 Bad Habits from SOAP-DM and/or MGE? in TF2 General Discussion
RacsoSuperfuzzEDIT: On a related note, are there any ammomod servers still active? Preferably west coast?
mge comes with two different ammomod arenas.

I forgot those were in there, thanks.

#1 Bad Habits from SOAP-DM and/or MGE? in TF2 General Discussion

I'm not trying to re-hash the old MGE vs. SOAP DM debate, there are pros and cons to both, and I fully intend to play both of them.

Essentially, I'm looking to improve my DM as much as possible through a healthy mix of SOAP-DM, MGE, tr_newbots, pugging, and scrimming (provided I get picked up on a team). After googling around to get an idea of everyone's opinions on the various methods of improving DM, one consistency was that too much MGE or SOAP-DM can build bad habits, but people rarely got specific. I don't want bad habits, so I'm hoping you can enlighten me as to what to avoid while practicing in these arenas. Or at least specifically what to focus on while practicing to get the most out of my time.

If it matters, I play soldier.

EDIT: On a related note, are there any ammomod servers still active? Preferably west coast?

#31 there is a big issue with soldiers in tf2 in The Dumpster
GoaskAliceall soldiers will agree with me that soldiers can only use 4 rockets with any rocket launcher besides black box

I'd like to see some more evidence on this topic, seems like you're jumping to conclusions here.

#4360 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization
KonceptSuperfuzzQuestion about the red damage indicators that show up when I take damage:

-Which values will move those indicators further away from my crosshair?
-Which values make them skinnier?
-Which values make them shorter?
When I was altering the ones in the hud that I was making I used this video tutorial by Rays

I don't have my files in front of me right now to confirm these things unfortunately but I think these fields are what correspond to what you're asking
  • further away from the crosshair - start/end radius
  • thinner - maximum/minimum width
  • shorter - maximum/minimum height

Sweet, I have one more question:

The more damage I take, does it make the indicators both wider and longer?

#12 What is in demand? in TF2 General Discussion

Please don't do bots.

I like badwater way more than Harvest, but a 24/7 Harvest/Badwater rotation would be sweet.

Post the ip here if you decided to get it up and running, I'll add it to my favorites!
