#75 [PSA] SteamPipe, Part 2 in TF2 General Discussion

I have already tried verifying my game cache. WHAT DO?

Don't name any folder in the custom folder as something that might get confused with a real folder. By that I mean, I had the same issue because i had a tf/custom/maps/maps folder. I changed it to tf/custom/custom_maps/maps, and it worked fine. So change yours to tf/custom/hud/resource

#5 Thin crosshair in Q/A Help

#2 It just made the whole thing smaller, not thinner.

#3 Where would I designate it to be a + sign? Basically at this point, I just copy and pasted an already working hud xhair section like the one you have in your post, and changed the font used (as well as defining a new font in my clientscheme.res)

But wouldn't that just make the overall plus sign smaller? I want it big, but thin.

Edit: Trying it anyways

#1 Thin crosshair in Q/A Help

So I've been trying to get myself a hud crosshair that is a + but sort of big and really thin. However, even though I've scoured other huds, and tried to find a font on my own to use, I can never get it to turn out thin, it's always a fat plus sign.

Anyone have one already and wouldn't mind sharing? Or know where I could get one?

Shotgunning things that you juggled into the air is a good thing.

But which .res file do I find those variables in? Or do I need to create one and put that in it?

#1 Damage Indicators in Q/A Help

So I just noticed that on my current hud, when i take damage, large fat red squares show up. I also noticed that on certain other huds the squares are actually really thin. Where do I find the variable to change that?

You also make 100% of the shots you don't miss.

mghughlaurieme and jake 2 of the best snipers in hl just play a lot of pubs since they're the closest thing to actual highlander play. he mostly played payload but i prefer koth and cp aswell

Fixed this for you.

But he is correct that just pubbing as sniper will get you accustomed to the hitboxes. And that's all you really need to do to get better at sniper.

MrPoT4tOAnd that's why I listen to my music on earbits or jamendo.

Are those places with public domain music? Does anyone know any good spots to get good public domain music?

I'm still curious as to how they plan on enforcing this. I could see them paying much closer attention to the big name streamers and partners, but how likely is it that a streamer who gets an average of 5 viewers will get shut down for playing music?

#31 Twitch & Music in Off Topic

Might be what I have to do, I don't know if I'd enjoy playing without music.

I guess there's probably a way that my spotify/pandora/itunes/last.fm doesn't play on the stream, but i can still hear it.

what about if you're listening to pandora? All that music is free, same with spotify.
