#1 S14 Soldier ELL-EFF-TEE in Recruitment (looking for team)

Wazzup, my name is Vanilla, and I still don't have a team for S14 :(

I've played a couple seasons of open, and I backed up (officially) for Crunchy Bunch in open, and (unofficially, just for scrims) for eGo in IM.

My first choice is to play pocket on a high open or IM team. I'd also like to main call. Second choice would be to roam for a similar skill level (high open/IM). I also *might* be willing to play scout for like a low-mid open team.

I'd say I'm a pretty dedicated and hard worker. I love to watch demos and learn as much as I can about everything, I'm all about improving.

Hit me up for tryouts!

#4 Soldier LFT Season 14 in Recruitment (looking for team)

I've played with sneaky quite a bit (including being his solly counterpart on Gettin' Cozy at the beginning of the season), and I never experienced any of the immaturity that Cozen mentioned. He goofs around and jokes a lot, but when it comes time to take care of business, Sneaky doesn't mess around.

His game sense is solid, and it just keeps getting better, and backed up by his impressive DM, he's gonna do really really well next season. Get this kid on your team, you won't regret it.

#42 Who pioneered 6s in TF2? in TF2 General Discussion
Cro0Ked_i think it'd be amazing if someone who was around since the beginning could do an article about the history of competitive tf2 and the 6v6 format.

This would be absolutely amazing, I'd love to read something like this!

disengagebig animeman aka jaeger

This makes me think that jaeger and animeman are the same person? Is that the alias you were wondering about?

#30 Is the Scottish Resistance Viable? in TF2 General Discussion
panzerxiiiIt's very interesting for last pushes because you can clear an entire trap with one SR sticky (remember, it breaks stickies!).

But besides that, not really, as was said earlier in the thread, airdets are too useful.

This is the only reason I'd see it valuable. If your demo goes down before a push to last, especially fast capping ones like badlands, it could be viable to clear it and just have a scout or two get right on the point.

I'm a physics major. I have time for school, video games, and a social life. It can be balanced but it's challenging.

Yeah, the new nvidia drivers cause flickering in dx8, so either use old drivers or use dx9.

#72 Fully charged #21 -- ask infinite/Fornaught stuff: in TF2 General Discussion
BwatWill valve ever make the dead ringing skill based? To add on that will valve ever up the skill level of spy in general?

First off, I don't really see how asking the UGC admins about valve's weapon decisions is relevant. Maybe asking about something more specific, like will UGC ever consider banning the wrangler?

Second of all, absolutely not. Dead ringer is a watch for bad spies. And spy can't really be made more skill-based without ruining the purpose of the class (unless Dead Ringer was banned completely).

#11 Question for ESEA in TF2 General Discussion
djchighlander has too many casual players who would never be willing to pay the $25+ per season to play in ESEA

This. I enjoy highlander a lot, but I wouldn't pay for it. I am willing to pay for 6s because there is a lot more time and effort put into it by all the players, so it is a lot more rewarding. And even if I'm only in open or IM, I at least have the potential to eventually make invite and go to LAN. I'm all in favor of another league picking up highlander (CEVO?!), but I don't think it would work well with ESEA.

#19 Fully charged #21 -- ask infinite/Fornaught stuff: in TF2 General Discussion

What sort of things are you actively doing to try and improve the tf2 competitive scene? Not specifically highlander or 6v6, but in general. Are you looking to improve on anything UGC does to help the overall tf2 competitive community?
