Sniper and pyro are only really situational classes in 6v6, so there's not much point advertising yourself as a pyro or sniper looking for an ESEA team. Stick with scout for ESEA, and if you want to play pyro or sniper, you should try posting in the UGC forums (http://www.ugcleague.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6) looking for a highlander team. Nothing against what you do, but I just wouldn't find it interesting to watch a pubcast.
Edit: I can see how some might find it interesting to watch, but I doubt anyone who plays the game competitively would want to watch a pub get casted.

WithADanceNumberTo answer the OP, the FaN is a great pub weapon and also pretty good for highlander as the extra movement greatly increases your survivability.
Why use FaN when you can just use atomizer lol.
But yeah, I definitely agree, FaN is no match for a good scout with the scattergun.

The only times I've seen it useful is once on granary mid, a scout sat on his catwalk and denied the dumb jumpers that jumped near him (i.e. me). That and then the gravelpit B defense with a scout on the roof.
