None of that seemed to do anything. I have a temporary fix, so it's not a huge deal, but if anyone knows what's going on let me know.

Stochast1cRemove mat_antialias 0 from your config (just comment the line out).
It was set to 4, and I commented it out, but it didn't make a difference. Should I set it to something specific?
Is there some sort of custom overlay I can install (other than editing withing mumble's settings) that might solve the issue?
I tried re-installing mumble and it didn't work. I noticed that as tf2 launched, there was a second where it looked normal, but then once everything was loaded and ready to go it went back to looking weird.
I have it removed, it doesn't seem to matter.
So I recently switched to dx9, and for some reason, my mumble overlay is solid, fuzzy, and bright, and none of the names light up when they talk (like they normally do). I've tried restarting my computer and tf2 multiple times, and it doesn't seem to change. Is there something I can put into a config or launch options to fix this? Or a custom overlay or something like that?
Rolled 'em back and everything is working now
So I updated to the most recent nvidia drivers for my gtx660m, and now in tf2, some of the surfaces are constantly flashing, and I have no idea what's wrong.
Is it a problem w/ the new drivers, and how do I roll them back to the old ones to get rid of this?
dMenaceshootist, his friends and myself frequent classic competitive matchmaking. It's really fun when you're against another pre made team and doing some coordinated strats on the fly. Game's fun when organized and on equal playing field; i.e not playing against esea-invite players.
That's exactly what I wanted. Add me if you wouldn't mind me joining you guys on occasion. I'm not that bad, I just need to get some CS gamesense, learn the basic strats.
Nice, I might give that a try. I don't want to get deep into comp CS, but I think it'd be fun to play a more organized version than the pubs with friends.
Do these DM servers work similarly to tf2 DM servers?
That's why I want to find enough people that I know to fill a lobby, so that we're friends and we don't hate. And hopefully I can get better by playing w/ them so that they don't HAVE to hate.
It'd also be sweet if you knew what you were doing so you could tell me when i'm bad :P
I want to do some Classic Competitive with some people, just every once in a while hop in a mumble and play, but no one on my friends list really plays it at all.
I'm pretty new to CS, I've been doing classic casual and getting the hang of CS and the maps and stuff, but they're effectively pubs and I don't think they'd be as fun as playing with actual people that I know where we're coordinating things.
Feel free to add me if you wanna play some time!
We should use this cause Sigma is a wizard: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/1210-huge-status-monitor
I've used it once in an eXtv cast and a handful of times on my own, and it's pretty simple and it's super awesome and useful.
