If you're gonna do physics please make absolutely sure that you like and are comfortable with maths. I don't know what the american high schools are like but in the UK you use very little of the maths that is critical for physics in your final years of physics classes - there was almost no calculus involved and was almost avoided in my case.

The maths gets taught separately in your maths classes sure, but a lot of people go into uni wanting to do physics with their naive understanding from what they've done in school and then get blown away by the amount of maths required.

during cricket nets. walking back to my mark to bowl again and not paying attention behind me as a cricket ball gets smashed and goes whizzing right past the side of my head.

this other time when I was really young some total stranger tried to get me in his car, there were people near by so he couldn't force anything. at the time I didn't realise what happened but pretty creepy thinking back to it.

some people may just use ':)' as just a smiley face and not to be passive aggressive.

yeah. I was just responding to twiggy about why banny hasn't said anything compared to muselk, who effectively has said nothing as well.

muselk didn't actually say anything factual or give any details about the game at all. Just really vague comments to make the game sound appealing without having to say anything meaningful.

try something like tr_arena or tr_newbots. they're good for working on hitscan tracking or getting used to the trajectories that players will take when they surf damage (bots obviously won't strafe as well though) which can help with hitting directs, tr_rocket_shooting2/tyler_rocket_shooting is also really good for that.

but besides all that it just comes down to putting the time in and actively thinking about what you're practicing instead of just aimlessly dming.
