Like shoras already said, the thing that bothers me the most about the new hud is the missing results. With the old one you could immediately catch up and also see upcoming maps. Now you have to rely on someone in chat answering your questions between the meme copypastas

I don't really know what you mean by "clean TF2" but if you mean TF2 without any modifications or configurations, sure it is. In the end configs and stuff are just good for making the game look or act like it suits for you the best. If you're good with the default configuration and graphics of the game then there's no reason for you to change it.

I for myself do have some modifications and configs for which I got some reasons and explanations which might suit to you as well, but like I said , I'm not the default and these are basically for the little things. So if you're interested in some basic custom things add me or some other guy, if you don't see any disadvantages or things that annoy you while playing just keep playing, if you keep doing it you might possible bump on things that annoy you an yourself.

edit: Tfw you basically have to check everything you write.. Well, why woudn't really simple graphics and stuff work if they suit to you? It's still a question of taste and habit. I still don't really understand the question tbh.

Wait until it's halloween (bad idea if you want to die right now) and search for some place where there is much decoration and scary stuff, idk, some spooooky halloween party or whatever. Then find a good location to hang yourself, possible somewhere out of reach but still visible. Everyone at the party would think that the dangling corpse of yours is some part of the decoration and will continue to celebrate and probably even include you on photos or videos and finally after all the celebration is over some staff guy will cut the rope around your neck thinking you're some kind of a dummy which'll make your guts spread out all over the floor.
