also never had fps problems in tf2 but now if i play tf2 for 20+ minutes my game starts freezing every 30 seconds or so and its nearly unplayable. reinstalled tf2 and reinstalled all drivers on my computer but i cant find the fix and honestly i think i am just going to take a break from game for a while.

i guess braille could be helpful to learn and maybe he can practice doing regular stuff with his eyes closed and memorizing his house layout with a cane. if theres nothing to be done to prevent it, i feel like he should try to start learning how to live without sight before he is completely forced to as living without vision can be very difficult if you are unprepared! there are a lot of resources for blind techniques online but idk if you'd want to send them to him if its an emotional topic still. best of luck to him though, that sounds really rough.
