Bumping, would like to see if I can get back into the swing of things even if it's just in a backup role.

Hey everyone.
I've been wanting to get back into competitive, but I don't think I'm comfortable enough to start pugging or using TF2Center. Last time I played was about 2 years ago so I'm a bit behind on any changes. I've been trying to work on my DM recently as that has always been one of my weak points. I would like to see if I could find a backup spot to ease my way back in and play a couple scrims, and also because I'm not sure how available I will be. If I can figure out my availability then I could maybe play as a starter but since I'm not sure yet I'm mostly just looking for a backup spot. I'm in the Eastern time zone.

I can play any class but my preferences are flank scout/roamer > combo scout > pocket > demo > medic. I've been away for so long I'm not sure where I would fit in the RGL divisions, maybe IM or low Main? I also greatly prefer using Mumble over Discord for voice communication (not sure if most of the community has switched over to Discord or not). Haven't played on a team in a while so looking to get back into it. Last time I played was like 2 years ago in s20 so my dm and gamesense have probably suffered, but I've been pretty dedicated in the past. Was mid open back then but probably low open now to be quite honest, due to the IM merge. If IM is coming back, probably comfortably mid open, but still need to shake off the rust.

I'm not entirely sure about my schedule due to school and work so I'm also okay with backing up. I should be able to pay for myself.

I can play any class, but I would prefer scout or roamer.

I haven't had many interactions with froot, but there is one that stands out. This was a long time ago so he probably doesn't remember it, but he added me after I played med in a pugchamp. I don't think I performed that well, especially since I was probably the least experienced member of the team. froot wanted to make sure I didn't get discouraged by the behavior of some of the other players in the pug. I think this demonstrates his kindness and support for new players in the competitive scene. I can't really comment on in-game performance since it was so long ago, but I'm sure he is still very good at soldier.
