Hello!
My name is toastrz, and after getting a new computer I'm trying to start playing this game competitively again. I'm looking to play either Demo or Scout for whatever Open team would have me (preferably low-mid level).
Unfortunately I don't have a whole ton of competitive experience, only playing on a Steel team three and a half years ago. That being said, I have a lot of time on my hands, and would love to spend it playing scrims/mge/pugs, going over demos/maps, or just talking about the game. As such I would like to play with people who would do the same.
Here is my steam profile.
Thank you for your consideration!
The Dear Hunter's Act V: Hymns With the Devil in Confessional is definitely my AOTY, and probably my album of the decade so far. Definitely a sleeper pick.
Bent Knee's Say So is another one of my favorites of 2016, as well as Thank You Scientist's Stranger Heads Prevail

Bingeing Yes right now
Dream Theater's "The Astonishing" Live on May 11th, and At the Drive-In on June 8th
The Dear Hunter - Act IV: Rebirth and Reprise
I fucking love Rush - but I've never heard that rendition before. Alex's acoustic guitar work here is on point, and I love the soothing tone of voice Geddy uses.
Have some more prog: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBNPyMA35dI
Gonna fly down to Arizona see Tool, Primus, and Coheed & Cambria all in the same day, with a few friends I met playing this online video game we call TF2, while dressed as the rock legend himself: Mr. Universe.
Should be a pretty good time.

The whole EP, not just the single is pretty damn amazing. Like everyone else has said, your vocalist is phenomenal, and you guys should really utilize his talent in more songs. Also, your saxophone work in Fourth Dimensional High-Five (awesome name btw) is sick as fuck. I'm curious to know though, what are your guys' influences? 'Cause you sound like an awesome mix of Pink Floyd meets The Mars Volta.
I play the guitar, and have been for about ~4 years now. I'm also taking vocal lessons (if that counts as an instrument), and I've been doing that for about 5 months. I'm "a Baritone, with a very high top-end" according to my vocal instructor.
For the most part I just learn to play songs, but recently I've been having to write my own stuff as I'm the rhythm guitarist in a prog rock band now - so that's interesting :P
The Mars Volta: De-loused in the Comatorium
Coheed and Cambria: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
Clipping: CLPPNG
Gorillaz: Demon Days
Lana Del Rey: Born to Die
Donald Fagen: Kamakiriad
Only ever been to two concerts, but they were both amazing.
Saw Steely Dan with my friend Erick at Marymoor Park in Redmond in early July, there were only like 10 people not over 40 there, lol.
On September 9th I brought Erick to see Coheed and Cambria perform my favorite album, "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" in Seattle. That was probably the greatest 3 hours of my life.
I'm going to see Lana Del Rey with Erick and our friend Drake in May - that should be interesting :P
Went home from school early due to a random ass anxiety attack. Fought with my girlfriend over spending too much time with my friend Erick - she then gets really mad at me for being "controlling" for asking her to stop. Then went to a Coheed and Cambria concert with Erick and talked it out with him and now its all cool. Then I listened to the best album ever recorded live, so now I'm feeling pretty good c:
