damn a permaban for telling a spammer to kill themselves?
i don't even think a ban in the first place was really warranted
is this live footage from 2008 WCG?
it looks so bad
dude it's crazy that titan sucks so bad, they have the historically best IGL and AWPer
Thanks guys!
Just to clarify (for toastrz97), the EP is actually an old recording, and we're reworking it and adding plenty of new music for the real album. A lot more vocals as we didn't really find our sound until about 4 months ago. He's doing double duty though, playing some bass and singing at the same time.
Toastrz97, our influences are from a lot of things, some Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Rush, King Crimson, Zappa, Bungle, The Mars Volta, Devin Townsend, and so many I can't list them all.
waffleb, there are some really weird songs we're working on right now that might be included on the final release.
Bucake, theres this guy Gino in Columbus that does some awesome production and it's really nice to have him here because he's killer. The recordings were done in a really nice room with some great gear (U87's, Steinway Grand, Hammond A-100)
Again, thanks all for the support, it's really cool to have!
Hey, I normally feel bad about this stuff, but I'm going to do a shameless plug simply because I don't care. I hope some people might be interested. It's a little weird to post this on a video game forum, but this is a community I'm involved in and I want to share.
My band is beginning our press cycle for our upcoming album (tentatively to be released in November), and we have a lead single on our bandcamp to promote. We're a pretty dope psychedelic/progressive rock band with a 70s vibe. We're based in Columbus Ohio, and are planning a tour for sometime in the next year after our release. I played organ and piano on the song.
Come check it out, I hope some of you will like it!
yeah like im sure there are dozens of people that would have payed prem if you posted about it
I mean like 7 bucks is worth it for IM playoffs to not be a shitshow
Na'Vi could do really well here now that they will have their 5
overall this is good for the scene in the long run (maybe not for montreal however).
having major champion experience can only be a positive for our scene
naf to tempo storm?
I think that's just the tf2 tournament it was called something like that last year.
The only ways to get lossless quality is with a lossless file (.wav is uncompressed, .flac is comp but lossless). To be honest, though, 320kbps .mp3's are nearly identical to a .wav.
There is quite a lot of bullshit about this on the internet, particularly with audiophiles claiming all sorts of bullshit about the difference between the two. Trust me, they're lying if they say it's a noticeable difference.
I forget the exact physics, but it can be heard when using certain EQ filters (quite a lot of software EQ's suck), but good ones shouldn't cause issues. It has to do with latency, pre-ringing, and linear vs. plugins designed to counteract it.
Probably isn't much of an issue for normal use, but its something I look out for when I mix because it can have issues with drums/ HPFs.
Using software EQ can cause phase issues when listening to music.
That being said this is a good deal for a decent pair of headphones.
