#2 Several gaming organizations drop overwatch in Esports
citing a lack of certainty about Blizzard’s upcoming Overwatch League and potentially prohibitive costs they’ll have to pay in order to join it

Way to go Blizzard!

They already shook SC2 economics multiple times with their (sometimes) stupid decisions.

Heh at least this wouldn't happen in TF2, a game without developer full control support, right D:?

#69 May Global Whitelist Changes in TF2 General Discussion

I disagree with your solemn vow logic. How are you going to find out whether or not it's a problem if it does not get some use?

I do not agree with your machina reasoning either.

Also for cow mangler :

Despite not needing ammunition packs as most weapons do, this upgrade itself is not significant enough to be considered unbalanced

WTF? Try playing soldier on badlands or granary to see how much of a restriction ammo is, and you'll most likely revise your judgment.

Although i'm sad for the vaccinator, I understand the reasoning. I really hope that future maps make last points easier to push and maybe it'll be fine to reintroduce this (unlike this **** of granary pro), because, outside of last holds close to spawn doors it adds a lot of dynamism to the game.

Good reasoning for the rest.
When do you plan on reviewing the global whitelist again?

#4 Whitelists survey results in TF2 General Discussion
shorasThe fact that 40% want to go back to 2010 surprises me.

It's because the bulk of 2017 tf2 players weren't around in 2010.

Any idea when we'll get the results of the very big survey with questions on each unlock?

#9 Quickiebombs in TF2 General Discussion
Intimidatingdanklord2 main questions in this discussion really:

1: how truly effective do you think a dm heavy pocket demo using quickiebombs would be? Assuming you have two gunboats to follow up/ start fights, and do you think the quickiebombs beat the sticky
launcher in this field.

2: Would a hybrid style utilising both be even slightly viable? Maybe using stickies on last points for the pure area denial and the quickiebomb on mids maybe

1 - As nuze said it is a good weapon for direct fighting. With it it's extra important to reload multiple stickies at once and not fiddle too much with stick/pipe combos (it slows reload too much).
It does not beat the sticky launcher which is better at laying ground sticks to block a path simply because of greater clip size.
I also think it's a very good weapon for extra passive play : simply stand far away from fights and throw charged stickies, enjoy the increased long range fire rate.

2 Yes. As point 1 stated you can use quickiebomb more or less full time. It's especially good at following things : dry pushing (wipe the sticky trap and rush through), last pushes (remove sticks on point), granary middle (snipe players easily), viaduct (forward hold breaking/stay china like a pussy and give all the heals to scouts)

#77 Freestate quits TF2 in TF2 General Discussion
Lyreixif anything banny has proven that he is able to micro a team of 5 good-but-not-top-invite players into invite champions in one season of invite, so at this point whoever is picked to fill in for freestate will be a pounder few weeks into the next season

four players, not five. Blaze was already top invite before joining b4nny.
