#34 cp_priderock (5CP with jump pads) in Map Discussion

speaking of playtesting, 6s is a thing but testing it on a pub server could be good and fun too, if someone has a spare server to use..

#24 691 ctapping in TF2 General Discussion
Trotz21https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALeoHAldK2g

this is supposed to be really good, map download in youtube vid description.

I'd trust DD considering he is the best German roamer currently in Prem currently.

So in this video dd says 'strafe right for height' for the first jump. Does it have an actual impact on how high you go?

#8 New way to play 6's (Just a thought) in TF2 General Discussion

OP if you played TFC or Fortress Forever you'd know that the game goes 10x faster with spawns and movement (to the point of making me vomit after several conc jumps 10 lives in a row)

There is no way to try to emulate the same gameplay or speed in TF2 and that's for the better because it's a different game.

#15 Where to start playing 6v6 TF2 in EU? in Q/A Help

My issue with pugchamp was the captain drafting system.

As there is often lots of players added but very few willing/able to be captain games do not start quickly outside of peak times. Besides captains tend to pick good/famous/people they are friends with, so when you do not know anyone and have no experience you have little chances to get picked.

#59 esa mvps in LAN Discussion
TheFragileMirelin was always given a massive amount of credit for surviving ridiculous situations. When I observed such situations, I think it's highly up for debate on whether it was a good escape from Mirelin or just the enemy player missing important shots.

I asked myself the same question watching Raymon at some points

like he's on badlands tube on last there's 2 guys on main shooting at him and he somehow makes it to the spawn ( i think it was vs froyo?), holy cow

#49 esa mvps in LAN Discussion

combo scout : b4nny : he was very consistent
flank scout : Stark : without his plays se7en's playstyle does not work
roamer : drackk : he turned tides often and saved his team more than any other playe
pocket : paddie : very consistent and good shotgun
demo : bdonski because he's able to play with the lord of the heals and still do well
medic : raymon because he has good mechanics of course

now are these players the all time mvps of tf2? Not for me.

#3 4 core vs 8 core in Hardware

TF2 isn't multithreaded well. I'm not even sure it handles dual cores properly. What matters is the single core performance. This is also true for other games, more cores does not equal more performance, because it's hard to split game instructions compared to video encoding for example.

I suggest you look up benchmarks of games instead of what you linked. You'll see that the intel CPU is superior.
