Very interesting decision by all accounts - alfa's a strong player and adds a degree of versatility to their lineup with his offclass shenanigans, there's no question he's a considerable downgrade to SDB as a roamer but then most people they could have picked up at this point would be. Certainly adds some interesting flavour, having an NA player on an EU team. Will be fun seeing alfa snipe against Ascent, one would think they'd know his tricks and playstyle inside-out but we'll see about that.

Another unexpected addition to the building storyline of what should be one hell of an event.

It is the grand finals of i55. Froyotech have reached the finals after close victories over nerdRage and TLR, TLR having played with WAR on demo and Sideshow on spy, sometimes offclassing to roamer. They are set to face Reason Gaming, who have destroyed all competition so far, beating nerdRage 6-1 and TLR 57-0.

Froyo have looked weak in the buildup to the finals. While the rest of the team has been displaying their i52-era dominance, Ash has been underperforming, putting out stats that make Loveclop look like a DM god.

Reason are waiting on the grand stage, eager. Hungry. They can see the championship, taste it, though people have asked Kaidus to stop licking the trophy. Froyo walk out, all... five of them? Ash is missing. 4G, looking oddly confident, walk to their PCs and sit down.
