Almost wholly irrelevant and like 99.9% useless but just an interesting little tidbit in case it hadn't been found yet: it's entirely possible to get up to and build a sentry on the diagonal crate on mid without a wrangler.

Go up the tire ramp, jump across the gap onto the little corner of the other crate that the diagonal one rests on, jump and strafe around the corner of the diagonal crate, build a dispenser and climb on it to get onto the wooden box then jump up to the diagonal crate and build.

If anyone really wants a demo of this for some reason I can provide but don't see how it's particularly important, just a small thing to note.

Couple of skins here and there made from scratch, every skin has at least been pretty heavily edited.

One day everyone will believe me when I tell them how ridiculous Larval is. This video is one step closer to that day.

Have had playcomp.tf in my Steam name since yesterday. Went on a pub, guy in server chat making it clear that he likes playing to win and team-play, I suggested he check out playcomp.tf. He said he would and thanked me for the suggestion.

If only it were always that simple.

Skial Harvest 24/7 EU. I know a lot of people complain about Skial and for the most part I agree but that server in particular was something else back in its day; wonderful atmosphere, the friendliest regulars in the world (and they were ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD HOLY SHIT) and even an admin who actually gave a shit, had fun with the regulars and treated people fairly. Harvest isn't exactly the best designed or balanced map but it's fun to rocket jump around and go for dumb airshots on which is how I first learned how2soldier.

It's now a Skial+ 32-player instant respawn server and the regular community on there has been reasonably dead for quite a while now but even now I'm playing almost exclusively 6s and having by far the most fun I've ever had with the game some of my fondest memories are of that server and I met some of my closest friends in the game on there.

Also we had Larval Extract before he was cool and being mentioned on Fully Charged Europe and stuff dammit.

Froyo definitely just outplaying Epsilon, but I think the interviews the night before were the funniest damn thing I've ever heard. Night before grand finals, pretty much all of Epsi except WAR: "Not gonna sleep, gonna drink and celebrate!" after an exhausting 3 game series while Froyo are off sleeping.

Most amazing TF2 I've ever seen played at this LAN. Was rooting for iM personally but always been a mix fan so awesome to see them potentially getting another shot at being two-time world champions, or at least getting to the main stage.

Huge props to everyone and anyone that worked on this; the quality and production value easily rival Valve's Free to Play documentary. Just amazing work by everyone. But even putting quality aside, the content itself is enough to give goosebumps. Hoping to see another one of these for i52, but more importantly, hoping that i52 lives up to and exceeds the expectations set by i49. August 22nd can't come soon enough.
