The year is 2017. ShaDowBurn is now a rostered substitute on all eight Prem teams and has bought a second computer in case he has to play for two teams at once. He is even a rostered substitute for his own team, appearing twice on the roster and having subbed for himself three times when he's been unavailable.

And with Mike back on Soldier, finally the TF2 community was truly able to see how deep Wonderland's rabbit hole goes.

I can't decide whether I prefer to read that as "tee-ell-are tee-ell-are", "tee-lee-are tee-ell-are" (Mirelin <3) or just "Tyler Tyler".

Maybe Tyler Tyler can be Blaze and TLR's new ultiduo team/hit pop duo.

What will delay Herr_P from playing and force him to join for the second map this week? Will his train be delayed by American secret service agents trying to crush all hope for Europe at i55? Will KnOxXx slash his tires, revealing that joining Reason was a mere ruse so that he could sabotage them with his double-crossery to play Scout for TLR? Will he leave TLR to play pocket for Froyotech?

Not gonna lie the post-match 5am EU circlejerking was about as fun to spectate as the match itself

Actually, speaking of combos, that's a fair point - it won't even be the i52 combo will it? With kaptain being the solly they're keeping it'll surely be Mike roamer, right? Not that that's a problem, Mike's roamer's been well-proven as recently as SUAVE, but it presumably won't be the fabled Mike/KnOxXx combo from i49 Epsi.

Also, was curious to see if b4nny had any particular opinions on the #eushuffle so asked in stream chat: "I mean, they probably upgraded, but I dunno if it makes a difference. I mean they basically just picked up the combo that threw i52. That scout's good, though."

(quoted as closely/accurately as I can remember at like 3am, sorry if I made any mistakes or missed anything, he also obviously and very sensibly made some comments about how it's just a rumour at this point to his knowledge)

Whether you're a supporter of the EU scene or critical of it, you have to admit: with all of this buildup, I think it's pretty well guaranteed that i55's gonna be a good one.
