MattCVI have always been proud to say that the person you see in the game will be the person you see if you met me IRL. I have never been one of those people that have two personalities.
It is impossible to express your whole personality over a video game. At least I can't, but I never judge people according to what they say over the internet.
MattCVMy point is that trash talk is part of competitive environments, it helps to drive people. Adversity can be a good thing if it challenges you, if someone calls you shit in-game does it not motivate you to get better?
People usually call me bad because they lose, so no, it brings me a sense of satisfaction really. But I can see where the people who take this more personally come from. Obviously, this kind of behaviour should not be conducted, but in the same time people need to care less, or focus on their perception of themselves rather than others'. Both sides are faulty in one way or another
