Closet Clowns aka we forgot how to play this game are looking for either a pocket or a scout to fill up our roster. We all hang out in the same mumble and have been friends for a while, so being chill and hanging out in mumble after scrims end is what we're looking for. Half of the team hasn't played much TF2 since season 9, so we're all a bit rusty. We just lost our other scout due to him not having enough time, so we need another solid scout pretty fast.
Roster is:
Medic - Strace
Pocket - aim
Roamer - Eroqa
Demo - Stew
Scouts - me and you
http://play.esea.net/teams/82039
Middle of open is probably our current skill level.
Add me if you're interested in trying out.
EDIT: yo we got 6, thanks for the kind words and tryouts everyone.
EDIT2: emergency bump homies, we need a scout to replace nifty because things came up and he doesn't have time to play starter.
Yo, updating the thread for her. Since strace, eroqa, stew, and I all hang out in the same mumble anyways and we aren't doing anything for this season we've decided to form an ESEA Open team. Eroqa and stew have past experience in ESEA and solid DM, but haven't really played competitive since season 9. I've played ESEA seasons 8-14 (not counting s13), but my computer and internet is pretty bad lately so I've spent the majority of my time playing dota and complaining about my game being choppy. So overall, we're trying to have a fun season and scrim fairly regularly.
The classes (for now?) seem to be:
Medic - Strace
Pocket - ????
Roamer - Eroqa
Demo - Stew
Scouts - me, ????
So hit up strace or myself if you're looking to commit to a team and don't rage. Ideally you'd be the sort of person to hang around in mumble after scrims for a little bit at least, since we're all friends here.
Has a nice deep voice. Would recommend.
Really chill and has great scout dm.
Why are there so many comparisons to Dishonored rather than comparing it to the previous three Thief games? I guess if it's like what DNC said I'll just pass on the game.
I may have worded it poorly in my original post, but the title "ranked placement matches" with the dota 2 icon is really misleading is what I was trying to say. 5 out of the 8 vods in that image there contain TF2 content, with vods #1, 3, 4, and 6 being solely TF2.
As a side note I've forgot to change my stream title/current game played this week. It's pretty split between TF2 and Dota, with some osu here and there. I'll be sure to fix that for future streams. I'm aware this makes looking through my vods harder so I'll link the TF2 related vods from this week.
Again, the titles and game played information on this weeks vods are false.
- Stream mostly TF2 content
More or less, probably about even with dota.
- Stream consistently over the course of the week
3 days a week on average about? Depends on the workload in class and if my computer can handle it.
- Provide a link to your stream

- Provide a brief description of your stream
TF2 pubs, monotone casting/making fun of bsc, angry dota games.

Played various ESEA teams from s8-s14 and some TWL when that was a thing. Not currently on a team, still ring occasionally.
I used to have a lot of trouble with this jump when I started ESEA a few years back. The sticky location is pretty flexible on the metal sheet, and as the videos and people above me said you don't have to (and probably shouldn't) jump when going out the window.
You're most likely having issues with det timing if you're struggling with the jump. All I can really say is that you're probably rushing it. You can det the sticky fairly late as you're walking out the window. If you're still having issues, try practicing with extremes. See what happens when you det your sticky too late and what happens when you det it too early.
I don't know if it's necessary at all, but I've always crouched as I exit the window and det then. It's become a habit of mine and helped me with timing.
What frames are you getting?
Not really sure if many people have an interest in these kind of games here, but Dungeon Keeper is free if you get it before Sunday and a lot of the top selling games on the site are on sale for 80% off.
It's worth checking out at least, the sale/free game is up until Sunday.
