maybe random player bio's? This is a big thing in other esports (especially Dota at the majors and TI) where players are given spotlights and some narrative is given so people have some reason to like them and like their team before knowing about how they play the game

Hiya
Looking to play on an Open team in S23 as demoman.
I'd like a team who can: scrim 4+ times a week, do demo reviews, look to improve (playoffs in mind), help me improve, play on East Coast/Central NA servers
What I can offer: Attentiveness, dedication, a calm demeanor, friendly support, an mge buddy :>
What I need to improve: dm, calling under pressure, positioning, internet speed
Experience: The MerCanaries (S22 7-7 *joined mid-season*)
Tune Squad (S21 9-7)
I'm usually available for scrims/matches/general BS every day after 6pm EST
Lord of the Rings, 2001, Dale and Tucker vs. Evil
DougHow long did the project take?
from design idea to submission it took about 5 months. If you don't count the day of climbing, I'd say 200 hours were put into designing, testing, printing, and making the video/business case
fnmwhere you at the Frankenstein cliffs?
Good guess! I was at Texaco pretty close by, we wanted to try Frankenstein but it was pretty late in the season when we got our footage (March) and a lot of people were there, a lot better to film somewhere less popular
Center is way more populated. You could try UGC 6s if you want to get back into serious (scrims, same teammates, etc) without paying. If you want to learn/relearn comp tf2 I recommend Marxist's and Mr Slin's videos, they are conveniently both med mains.
I'm in college right now for Aero/Mechanical Engineering. A friend and I decided to enter an ASME competition where we design something that gets 3D-printed. We stuck with something one of us knew something about (ice climbing). A lot of frustration with Solidworks and video editing later, here is the result:

A month later, I learn that we're going to Charlotte. This is extremely exciting for me, it's my first time I've been able to travel somewhere because of something I helped create, though now we have to present and compete. I just felt like sharing this with everyone, a lot of people seem to like our design
played together on tune squad, chill during scrims and matches, likes drama
visited Alaska for a month, went gold panning, fishing, glacier-walking, picked wild berries, helped my dad tear down a house and skin a black bear. Bear meat is surprisingly good, don't cook past medium rare, though. Went in July, the sun barely went down, sky wasn't dark until 2 a.m. Also went whitewater rafting in Maine and Yellowstone, definitely something worth trying.
stuck my face in front of a dog while it was growling. Got a good portion of my cheek bitten off
gg Westbrook
personally my best match this season lol
I found a name generator a few years ago that uses your first letter of your first and last name (like this http://i.imgur.com/9gFHqJS.png ) that tells your "fictional world." Mine was something like "The land of wind and cubes" changed my steam name to that, and it stuck
SpaceGhostsCoffee, Megawac, my teammates :)
and anyone in pugs that cheers me on when I don't suck, even if they aren't serious
