Unfortunately I'm still waiting for the sponsor money, but I expect it will be with me within the week and it will be paid out the second I have it. Our intention is to be able to pay out prize money within 60 days but due to the initial lead time in setting up contracts being 90 days this hasn't been possible.

Sorry it's taken so long guys, we really do want to give you a good tournament experience and we're sorry it's taken longer than expected to round it off.

However, if we don't keep getting enough teams signing up to play it does mean we will likely no longer be able to put these on. This sponsorship has the potential to be open ended and build up, so we really do need your help as players to help it grow into something that will support the whole community.

Now we're onto the NA monthly next weekend, 5 teams have signed up so far but we want at least 16 (ideally 32), get yourselves signed up as soon as you have a roster and get a good weekend of NA gaming in.

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks to all the EU teams that have signed up so far (and the one NA challenge team), at 22 it's looking pretty good. We've also reopened signups until an hour or so before the tournament for any last minute signups.

Now it's the turn of NA to step up to the plate and sign up for some games next weekend.

Also a quick reminder that the EU monthlies are the first full weekend of every month and the NA monthlies are the second weekend of every month. So keep that time free, get some good games in and show sponsors that TF2 has barely gotten started in esports.

The April EU monthly is this weekend and we're still sat at 0 teams, the NA monthly is sat at 6. I know it's the off season, but this tournament will prove the communities commitment to sponsors and therefore the need for continued support.

Hey all, as with before if we want to keep these tournaments up we need at least 16 teams. Last month NA mustered 36 teams, this month it's not looking good against EU's 25 teams.

Help us help the community and sign up, we have bigger things in the pipeline but we need your support here in the first steps.

The EU monthly is over and it provided us with a great set of games for the weekend, congrats to Ascent.EU for taking home the victory.

Now we turn our attention to the NA monthly. 5 teams have registered so far, but can we beat last months 36 teams?

We currently have 4 teams signed up to the EU with only a few more days to sign up, as with before we really need 16 teams to sign up to keep these sponsors.

Teams of any skill level can play and I encourage you to do so, as with swiss you'll get 5 games on the saturday for sure and you should be playing against fairly equal opponents within a game or two.

For those of you wanting divisions these will come when we get more than only 16 teams signing up to play, if we only have this many there's no way to create them and have them make any difference.

The rules for both tournaments will be slightly adjusted from last month, moving towards the goal of opening up the whitelist by having the totally broken weapons fixed. This continues to bring us to a place that can be easily picked up by new players and spectators.

The main differences for those more experienced with 6v6 TF2 are the following:
5CP maps only
Class limits: 2 for each of scout and soldier; 1 for all other classes (that’s right only one
Pyro this time)
Win limit: 5 rounds with a 30min timer
