tibbyEven if they change the white-list to allow the Bonk; it won't be good enough for most scouts to swap out their pistols. The only way I could see the item getting use is a dipshit to pop it and run behind the enemy team for a gimmicky distraction play. The time the drink takes to consume prevents it from being a "get out of jail free card" in most situations. It'll be occasionally annoying, certainly. However, I don't think the change to the white-list is going to be as game breaking as some others in this thread have made it out to be.
If it’s going to ‘certainly’ be annoying, what is the point of unbanning it if it’s going to be useless otherwise? You’ve just made the game more annoying for no benefit
This entire twitter spat between b4nny and bear is retarded
Played on a team with mak, obliterating my street cred
vulcBrimstonehttps://clips.twitch.tv/BoredMagnificentAyeayeUnSanesince when could u go up there wtf
it was broken in valve's most recent snakewater update, you can only do it on that side of the map
How are we meant to work with valve when they offer such scant communication? If Jill or some other valve employee made even a short post on the forums it would make these whitelist changes a lot easier to swallow instead of mysteriously making changes and disappearing for another year, with items MAYBE being balanced in the next update. I don’t expect them to make any promises, even a vague post such as: “we are currently considering the rescue ranger, Natascha and soda popper for balance changes” would go a long way to assuage the community

Rivka is actually a twat. Fake ego, no idea why he thinks he's good at the game. Same with garbage. (Where that mid HL rec post go?)
I don't have any idea why people think they are nice, always seemed so fake to me. Don't respect that shit. Can't even handle pyro class.
yikes
lucrativeit is definitely accurate to put the negative feedback of this map in the bandwagon mentality because there hasn't been enough playtests from a majority of players to prove otherwise. If players don't want to be put into this category then they need to show a willingness to develop a map instead of shit on it from a couple playtests before they even know the meta of the map (which is very true here, don't bother saying its not)
I'm getting vivid ScorpioUprising flashbacks from this post. How does a reasonable post such as:
bearodactylthere are some pretty broken sniper sightlines that make it aids to push out of last cause the main lane to walk up to point puts you directly in the skghine of a sniper in mid who walked out of forward (imagine badlands choke didn't have a spire to block medics walking out trash and side spire)
Show 'bandwagon mentality'? Are you saying that ALL negative feedback should just be discarded because of some secret hate for new maps? That doesn't seem like a good way to improve the map and you're only going to encourage people to hate the map more by discarding their opinion immediately.
Also people are not criticising a map based off of 'a couple playtests' they are basing it off of a season of matches and scrims on the map. I agree that many people will just blindly hate a map because it's new but I think if a map is actually good and has potential then that will shine through. Change isn't automatically bad, but it isn't automatically good either.
Hardly accurate to put all of the valid criticisms that have been raised down to ‘bandwagoning’, also the creator of the map says she doesnt want to be involved with the community anymore, are we meant to know telepathically that it actually is being worked on behind the scenes?
frenzy_i was hoping for Christmas they would just fix the det bug, and id be very happy. But i am let down. :(
its a feature
merry Christmas
Wait, are you guys sure?
MotoriDepends when you are starting if you are starting as an teen or as an young adult pretty good chances whit enough time but if you are 30 and just starting pretty much no chance since slower reaction times the younger the better
more likely that they don't have time to play (family, job or lack of interest) than slow reactions
imho, 'natural talent' is vastly overstated and usually used as an excuse by people who dont want to put the time into getting better, at the end of the day most people have the same hands and similar reaction times etc. its 99% of the time them having a shitty mentality or not being disciplined enough to practice (which is perfectly reasonable in a game like tf2 which you can't make a living off of)
