honestly, I think it all ties back to the euros utilizing sniper more effectively than na.
i don't really see na teams trying to work their snipers into an advantageous position e.g. taking control of lobby so your sniper has a good sightline when pushing process last
another example is when you're pushing last with a sniper ex. on snakewater some teams push right side although if you push left you give your sniper a lot more space

trying to run tf2 on a computer from 2003 with no graphics card
what was your fps
I feel this
I played tf2 for almost 2 years with intel integrated graphics at 5 frames per second, those were dark times
i used to play on a mac laptop with a single button mouse (i used 'e' for +attack2)
