CarlDPI is a gimmick. Gaming mice in general are gimmicks, unless you find one that really fits your style.
Basically if you spend more than $30 on a mouse you are a fool, because the technology is the same behind all of them, you are just spending money on ergonomic design and name brands.
But but but more buttons so my small hands don't need to get off wasd to do things.

What is the difference between the g400 and the g400s? I know the g400s is the newer model, but what are the improvements/differences?

Also stv demos are boring, no CRITICAL HIT or white killfeed banners (as said by #3)
Details are extremely important, makes good frags even better.
Otherwise pretty good edit for a first edit.

All of Zowie's mice are too expensive, as with razer.
That leaves the g400.
How good is the scroll for the g400? And what's the deal with the cord?
