A year ago in s6 hl, i played in steel with pub friends. The team died after the season and I went on to tryout for other teams. Stumbled upon IFA, and I didn't make it but was told to play 6s pocket because I played like one. For some reason I never listened to thos e words and kept playing highlander and it took 2 mentors to finally reach the decision highlander isn't for me. after 4 seasons of highlander I can gladly say I hate highlander. I agree with scholar, people should go pub->hl->6s

i dont have the 2nd map im trying to download, but i did for the first one.

So about a month ago I tried to connect to a trade server (yes, trade servers) and I see it has a new map. Well I decide to go eat halfway and it's still stuck at the halfway mark, so I then pull up task manager and tf2 crashed. Now a month later, I try and join a different trade server and the same thing (both .bz2 files)
pls halp.

I don't think some people understand what Sal is trying to say. Robin and his crew want to support competitive tf2, but they need data on which items need to be balanced to perfect it, and they start with highlander first (because it's generally easier and new people usually go to hl first instead of highlander+6s bans so many more weapons and hl item metagame can switch easily) and then they will start the lobbies, then if they seee improvement they'll try 6s (or atleast eventually)

some tips already. find a hero that you like, what type etc, and branch off to heroes that are similar. then after you mastered a class/lane you should go play different heroes just to get backround knowledge. as for guides use www.dota2alttab.com, and you don't have to use the exact build, as most are situational. most item builds are pretty similar. and then you might want to read this:

hey whayay, nice hud btw, i was wondering why everytime i try and change the health/ammo colors everytime it goes to low health/ammo and i resupply it goes back to the original grey color. also how do you change the dm that you see that goes away not the one that shows up under your hp?

try deleting the textwindow in resource->ui, its called textwindow most likely or somewhere along the lines.
