PorkChopHow do you know if a 518 is 1600 dpi?
Four small elliptical feet on the bottom
A friend of mine bought that Hanns G. It has screen tearing issues and Hanns G didn't even understand what he meant when he sent it back to them to fix so they sent him a replacement with the same problem. Sadly he's too busy/pacifist to bother to send it back to them again so he's just living with it.
The screen seems to be identical to the Planar model that is/was available in the USA, which also had tearing issues. Except that was apparently fixed in some kind of firmware update that they flashed if you sent it back.

Colours and viewing angles are also pretty poor as you would expect from a cheap TN. If you get one without the tearing issue (a horizontal jump betwen rows of pixels every few seconds when set above 75 Hz) it would probably be pretty good value though.
Mike has improved a lot this season.
I'm sad that Epsilon didn't enter :(
They just won the ETF2L season without dropping a map like Mixup did in Invite so there isn't much to motivate them apart from the memory of i46.
downpourthis seems like the most pointless map.
movement is just as important as aim
being able to 180 degree turns reliably seems useful when dodging or peeking
scouts I've noticed doing it in particular are Yz50 clckwrk and TviQ
rangatoday my obs randomly started getting a red bar at the bottom (next to the upload speed i guess, which is usually green) and stream was really shitty, anyone know a fix?
nvm figured it out
hey people, don't be like this

Upgrades. Caved in and got a 120hz (and I don't regret it one bit)
Having 3 screens gives me so much more space for activities.
I should also fix that mess of wires down there some day. Meh.
Why aren't they super widescreens?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73scOxZPSZQ there now you have something to spend your internet money on

WintersunI think I'd stay away from Audio Technica if you dislike the "clumpiness". Most of them will probably feel like that.
the M and AD lines are totally different designs
vanillaThose sennheiser's are too expensive for me, so at the moment I think I'm still gonna go with the AD700's. If 7.1/5.1 are shit, what specs should I be looking for for good audio quality?
have a look in this thread for your best bet in terms of what soundcard to use (that is what will supply the binaural / surround sound rather than the headphones themselves.

there aren't really "specs" to look out for when it comes to headphones, just sheer numbers of user reviews on head-fi. avoid reviews from gaming websites or consumer electronic sites because they typically haven't got a clue what they're saying or have extremely limited exposure to good audio equipment so do not have dependable reference points (see #10 for a good example).
It was probably a #tf2mix game, which is administrated by cinq.
1. Headphones, NOT headset. I already have a good mic.
good start
2. 7.1 sound (that's supposed to be very high quality sound, right?)
7.1 software output downmixed to stereo is desirable since it has the most spatial information. However, you don't want headphones with multiple drivers in each earcup, because they are shit. Just get good stereo headphones and leave the surround sound effects to your soundcard and/or software.
3. Super Comfortable (able to wear for a few hours straight without any discomfort)
ad700, sennheiser hd650
4. Price is not a HUGE deal, but if I spend a lot of money, I want to get some serious quality out of it.

additional point to note about open-back headphones (AD700s etc) - because there is airflow involved, your ears will not sweat like they probably do after a while with the M30s or other sealed / closed-back cans.
Match post with player statements etc:
