downloading...
scanning for viruses...
bracing for impact...
urgent field dispatch sir, apparently the bracing was insufficient
The feel-good thing about all this is that TF2 is not an easy game to put on a show like this with. Sure, it's an amazing game to look at... but it's tough to play on PCs even by today's standards, it's even harder to stream, and it requires twelve people to show up plus two or three people involved in the stream. It's not like it's a game that facilitates broadcasting. Yet we're still alive and kicking and getting awesome numbers like it's no sweat.
So shoutout to everyone involved... the players, the streamers, the casters and the viewers (new and old).
alfunksoI would support a tf.tv league
I would support ESEA working more closely with people in TF2 community (ie TFTV) that understand the community's needs better. Cutting yourself off from ESEA is naive.

clorgwhat did you use to calculate these?
in/360 = (360/(0.022*dpi*sens))
assuming m_yaw of 0.022 unless told otherwise (don't think I ever was)
alfunksoLook at thos STDS for Overall and Scouts, nothing can be inferred there. But for Soldiers and Medics I think this data is pretty helpful
On the contrary, it shows that Scout can be played at a high level with both high and low sensitivity.
enigma might well have changed back to the WMO since when I asked him, but this is only meant as a snapshot after all. If I were to actually keep these up to date it would be a full time job :p
Also, I tried to bother as few people as possible while doing this since I know questions about sensitivity are probably a source of irritation for a lot of top level players. So if there was information published in a thread somewhere from a while back I just went with that rather than hassling them. This means it's meant to be less "they're all using these settings right now and more like "they once used these settings" or something along those lines.
cinqAre you sure your data is valid? Because think clockwork and enigma are using the WMO.
enigma changed, idk about clckrwrk - br0 weren't very responsive, just going on what I saw him using at i46.
Hello.
A couple of weeks ago I had the idea to record information about mouse settings for all of the top players in European and American TF2. I'm not terribly interesting in imitating the sensitivity of players, but I just remember reading an article about different pros' settings on ESReality and thinking it was interesting and that someone should try to gather similar information for TF2.
Unfortunately, what with teams being slow to get back to me and being busy myself with other things I never got around to writing an article. However, I'm going to now make public the raw data recorded, so people can check it out themselves and draw any interesting inferences if they wish.
Here it is -- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoXEN9ZAogzVdG9lODVQaHFSVEl6ZS1XN091a0lMR2c
Note: [/i]Players change sensitivities and so on all the time. This is meant as more of a snapshot than a definitive answer to "hey cookye what sens do you use". Additionally, many of the settings for American players were taken from their twitch.tv channel info panes. Thanks for supplying this information so readily! You can also publish your equipment info in your TFTV profile.
Cheers.
PS. If any players felt there was an expectation of privacy of their settings which I'm somehow violating, lmk and I can take you off.
PPS. This is your "PREM - by CUBE" daily dose reminder.
"Katie asked me where I got the name Kratos and if it was a family name."
You waited for her to leave?
@john do you have one? cuz ya should
PS @ Sal - djc, cbear (I think), enigma and torden already have 'um. I gave some nominations to djc on IRC, hopefully he will pass them on to you.
yz has muscle memory for a 360? 180 I can understand but 360 is some next level shit
"loud-ed" oh u americans
