Ten Years Gone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9bP-LbR8u8
Gets me every time. :(
Oh man, just read it because I hate sleep. Guess I'll have watch the movie now as well.
Tell a story. Give meaning to each frag beyond the wow factor. Pull each character together, show the frag, and then show the effect of that frag.
A great example ----> PREM - by CUBE: http://youtu.be/jamuLPfQibU?t=3m6s
While setting up every frag with complicated split camera shots isn't necessary, make sure you don't skimp out on the background details. "Prem" never forgets to remind you that each and every frag is part of a much bigger picture that is competitive 6v6.
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: HotS brought a lot less than was required to keep SC2 afloat for a long period of time. For years Blizzard has had the wrong mindset when it came to balancing and changing the game. They still haven't figured it out and likely will never figure it out. So yeah, SC2 will stick around for a few more years after the second expansion but it's already past it's prime. The numbers may not look too bad but this is just foresight for the future. Maybe Blizzard will cash in on LoL/Dota fans watching multiple Esports, but that's about it.
I always get cucumbers instead of lettuce. dae?
As everyone has probably already mentioned:
- 16gb memory is unnecessary, go with 8gb
- 256gb ssd is likely unnecessary. I have windows, tf2, along with a couple other smaller games on my 128gb, and I still have 30gbs free
- $165 case is unnecessary, with my budget of about $1300 (mouse, to monitor, to everything) I got a $65 case that works perfectly fine. I wouldn't got beyond $100 for a case
- you could probably upgrade the power supply to something a little more powerful, I'm not an expert on that though
Have you tried something like this? A wall around the bases on mid that a soldier can crouch jump onto. Would allow for a more risky path for flanking classes.
There's this interesting thing that happens with ideas. Let's say billy has an idea. He posts about it on teamfortress.tv. The first few posts go along the lines of "Hey, that's cool!" and "I want one!" But it doesn't last forever. Soon someone realizes the idea isn't perfect, there's a flaw in the design(!). Then another post like that comes along. Then another. And another. Soon every single post either echos the mistakes already pointed out or directly insults the poster.
So billy's saying "Hey wait a minute. What happened to my idea?" Sorry billy, your idea wasn't perfect. And because it wasn't perfect we've decided the whole idea is stupid. Why would you even think of something like that? Are you stupid?
I guess it doesn't really matter, just something I have found to be fairly universal.
My brain hurts.
Time for part 2...
Traffic in Sim City will literally ruin your game.
Yes, yes it is. Thank you Kapoww.
