imo using Alt to crouch and just sliding your thumb over alt-spacebar is eaaasy, you don't need to learn any timing

What mouse do you use?

I have a Logitech g502. I do not recommend it for fps at all.
It took almost 4 years for my Deathadder to start malfunctioning. Tooootally recommended, most comfortable mice I've ever had, even with my 17cm hands at the time I used it.
