Well, the fact is that you made this decision to do this try to understand maybe why you did this in the first place. after you moved to EVL it might be the people there so maybe try to talk to them about their attitude or their feelings toward the game, this makes the games/scrims more likable for you and your team too. Another thing that might make it a bad experience is that there is a lot of tension within the TF2 community regarding the i61 LAN, with FROYO and other teams that might not show up.
I'm just trying to help hope this helps
