ZestyEvery time I saw it was tek on via I thought it would be this and it was a different clip of him airshotting blaze every time (poor blaze). Was there no stv for that game? In any case this vid is so good.
yeah his aim was actually insane that lan. As soon as the games were done i went to shake their hands and told him just that haha
good vid beater, thanks <3
Getawhalemustardoverlordthis is where I volunteer to be their tf2 -> ow historian and sow myself into their inner circle
I knew my day would come! ! !
"I might have left TF2 without saying a word, but if Thorin wants to know about it, I'll come right back dude! I've been here all along!"
MR_SLINblazeIf you weren't pleased with the initial tournament you announced can I ask why you wouldn't want to host an unofficial valve tournament? You could use the current mm format/rules or a format that is somewhat tangible with the direction valve has the game heading so they can accurately gather feedback and at least have an opportunity to see how their version of tf2 would play out.I don't think Valve thinks that TF2 with no class limits is the best way to push the game forward.

That wasnt my point... I'm saying that either of the options I listed would be more productive than hosting a 7v7 tournament

I genuinely don't understand the thought process behind this. If its purely only for amusement and something new to experiment with little chance of longevity then I misunderstood your intention
WiethoofdI wouldn't be disappointed and actually support it if sigafoo banned/disallowed any player in this thread bashing on the ruleset from being able to sign up/play.
To me seem all these (American) 6s players in this thread are very entitled to how their game is supposed to be played, instead of grabbing the opportunity like this to earn a few bucks and try something different.
Just cancel the cup and sponsor a Highlander tournament instead /s
Not to single this person out because there have been other numerous posts pretty much equating to the same thing.
There are people in the 6s community that shit talk highlander players, just as there are people in the highlander community that shit talk 6s players. Stop associating these people with their respective communities at large. They are individuals entitled to their own opinions and do not represent each communities values and understanding of how they want the game to be played.
This is honestly a huge issue with humanity. Generalizing a group of people based off what a select few people have heard, said or done.
If someone wants to host a tournament with their own money and create an interesting new rule set to go along with it as an experiment, theyre free to do that. Just as people who are potentially going to be playing in that tournament can critique it or suggest better ways that money can be invested. Neither is right or wrong, its all subjective. When you're arguing your point please refrain from needlessly attacking and belittling an entire community and instead constructively look at the opposing persons argument and try to persuade them. Otherwise the conversation will be derailed and we'll end up here.
i miss playing ultiduo when medics used needles :(
hit me up blank.. we'll reform <3
MichaRowD : Wow I beat a jump before Blaze did
MichaRowD : Therefore I am better than blaze
MichaRowD : Im kidding please dont hurt me
FROYO blaze : ^_^
BumFreezedownside: lose 10hp
upside: consistently dodge up to 100 damage whenever used
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
you forgot that the bat swings 30% slower and does 20% less melee damage. so i think thats a fair trade.
ha..ha..hA....
:(
Hunter_2_0Does anyone else realize Froyo is half Canadian now?
shhh...slowly it will become an all canadian team..
mustardoverlordaim-mustardoverlordif u think muma's rollouts were the biggest problem w/ his game then you don't understand tf2they are regurgitating what bl;aze is saying
blaze is a really smart player but im fairly sure he watched like 3 maps tops at i58
he was just pointing out that its frustrating how long the rollout thing has been an issue, I don't think he ever claimed it was the reason froyo lost or something
smh reading comprehension these days
I actually watched exactly 3 hahaha
but yes, there were obviously many other issues. I was just responding to a quote that was attempting to exonerate muma of his failed rollouts due to nerves. mids are probably one of the most important factors in setting the pace of a game and building morale. Not being there fast enough to support your roamer or get early damage/calls for your scouts hurts your teams chances and their confidence, which was most evident on badlands.
without getting into too much detail I think they all had their moments of good and bad plays for their first real LAN. they were all close series it seemed
