How soon and how effectively it'll balance out is unknown though.

Lonsforis it wrong for me to think that this tournament is being detrimental to competitive tf2 by giving people wrong ideas of what competitive tf2 should be?
It's worse by the fact Valve has pointed players in TF2 to it like it's an officially Valve-sanctioned Valve-supported tournament. Imagine a new player booting up the game for the first time, sees the system message, then goes to the stream to see the 7v7 garbage format and taking it as TF2 competitive mode.

Most streamers aren't on a relevant competitive team. (i.e. truktruk, b3arodactyl)
It'd be better to just put their country flag(?) or something else. Just their alias and their stream name will do imo.
