#201 mge alts eXposed in TF2 General Discussion

Why do Phrakture and Strat have alts, I can somewhat see the justification in the others, but those two don't even have a "fanbase".

MGE can be a real bother for people who just love to play it. First off for example, I'm playing someone else, and they decide to counter-jump on spire. Out loud while playing, I'll groan "what a fucking faggot". The difference is that I won't type anything as stupid as that in chat. If they continue to counterjump, I'll probably just !remove because it's not worth the time or the frustration.

Where it gets bad is the nerd who takes the "!remove" as somehow an insult(lolwat) and gets his hands ready for some shit-talk.

eg.
boppet: !remove
nerdlord420: wow lol you really just left lmao you suck

At this point, this is where people are compelled to write back.

Imagine a similar situation, where the person you are playing is completely bending you over and just airshotting your sack until it ruptures, you decide, 'well this is pointless' and !remove. The opposing player wants his mge points too badly so says this ironically:

lerdnord240: wow lol all you care about is mge points you couldn't even finish it

MGE is going to frustrate you, one way or another, it's just the way you handle it. I loved MGE, simply because I had the best frame-rate on it, and since I don't participate in competitive it was just a swell way to pass the time. No need for the superficial term "mgelord".

Not gonna lie, Relic as whippy was a cunt to less skilled players. Earlier in the year he started counterjumping when he played me because it was like 18-2 then said

"You're not bad"

"You're fucking horrid." Then he left.

kirbyof all threads to not get locked/deleted, i'm surprised this is it

It was a good, intelligent thread discussing the ethics and acceptance of obesity, until the unneeded nonsense about trans genders, in turn, should cause the nuking of this thread.

Honestly, if there was a forum section about debates,(without -+frags somehow) it would be fantastic, because we could discuss things like this in length without being told that it is a silly thing to talk about.

clorgso waffleb, has this thread helped you any? what are you going to do to your fat friend to make her change her ways?

There are still debates going on, and besides, she just asked for opinions so it's perfectly fine for debates to go on.

Honestly, I like these kind of threads, it gives the people something to talk about and debating and discussing is really cool as long as no one gets angry or heated. I personally would love a section on the forum for debates, the animation forum I used to regular at had one, and the members debated a numerous amount of controversial issues, like religion, gay marriage, the use of the word "nigga", legalizing marijuana, piracy, etc. It's another way for people to get to know each other.

but still, the +-frag system totally impairs any form of logical and truthful debate and leads to bandwagoning and stupidity, so any forum dedicated to it wouldn't be a good idea

smakerswafflebYou can't really compare being LGBT with obesity. If it really upsets people to be made fun of when they're obese, they can lose weight. If you're gay or whatever, there is shit all you can do about people making fun of you, thus there is a cause to fight for.
The bottom line is: despite your assumptions, you don't know why they are the way they are, and yet you judge and make fun of them--all while proclaiming that anyone who judges you for your sexuality is in the wrong. Are you really contesting the hypocrisy in that?

I was overweight, and i'm pretty sure it was because I ate too much. Losing weight is a choice, it's a want, and If you really want something you WILL seek it. There's no complications inside of it. I can truthfully say however, I've never been actually depressed, because my mind is simply wired in a way that just doesn't allow it to happen.
When obese people say, "when I'm sad, I eat" is coming off as silly to me, because you could easily just say "when I'm angry, I lift". it's really all about bad mentality and bad decisions.

What bothers me is fat people who complain they are fat. I used to be overweight(never obese), and kids used to call me out on it and tease me about it. Truthfully, these things hurt, but sugarcoating, being politically correct, is the last thing you want to do with obese people. There needs to be harsh people, who snaps this person back to reality, and show them the fact of their obesity and bad decisions.

Telling people, "you are just fine the way you are" is even more dangerous than verbally abusing someone for something like obesity. People need to realize that weight is something that is CONSTANTLY in your control. It's not genetics, it's not an addiction, it's you. Let's face it, obesity is disgusting, it's not attractive, and you must have a fetish if you like this:

If people actually care about you, they'll be honest and truthful on the matter.
