swiperTry to think of some long-term goals as well, like what kind of job you want, what kind of lifestyle, etc. Your goals don't necessarily need to be materialistic, although that is motivating for a lot of people. But bear in mind that choosing a career path isn't always just about income (or at least it shouldn't be imo); some jobs allow for a lot more autonomy, creativity, contribution to society, etc. than others. Once you have long-term goals you can break them down into short-team goals.
the problem for me is that I don't know what I want long-term
and all my short term goals I usually achieve with ease and they seem to have little reward ( and I'm not making cheapo goals either like taking the trash out
