assuming that that pulling out your medigun activates "medigun", this config makes it so that when your medigun is out and mouse1 is pressed, you STOP healing. this means you heal without clicking whenever you have your medigun out, and just click to un-lock from your heal target and switch to another.

so when you say it's slow to heal when you click on someone, your issue might be that you're clicking on people to heal them. you holding mouse1 down for .5-1 seconds to heal someone might be what you are interpreting as delay.

i heard the older EC models had issues with certain surfaces. i forget if it was a hardware or firmware issue, but i heard they either fixed the firmware or fixed it in the new model.

you might try using another surface though.
