ur genuinely just throwing a fit because ppl arent doing exactly what you want them to. you notified them of a problem, they apologized and told you theyd work to fix it. what do you want? if ur mad about the slow refund then go yell at teespring, the profitable business that can actually do something to help you

u handed a hot potato issue to a discord mod that requires the business admins finding a solution + communicating with a third party vendor. theyre probably having the same conversation with teespring that u are. teespring sucks, basically every site that does what they do sucks, they all do their best to make low quality products and bottleneck returns. why is this an rgl thread?

please be careful with this, because its probably very true but also very seriously dangerous to your long-term mental existence. youre in the perfect time of your life to enjoy yourself with reckless abandon, so i dont mean to be a scold or a prude, but this is a genuinely scary thing to hear someone say in earnest

maybe MGE players are different since i played it at all, and definitely an armchair take, but:

1. MGE is implied to measure ur pure individual skill
2. MGE is 1v1 and competitive so per (1) wins should show skill superiority of the winner
3. MGE is ultimately very flawed as a 1v1 competition, so unwritten rules are prevalent
4. ppl who play MGE too much place too much of their self-worth on their performance in MGE

this leads to MGE mains losing, feeling primally dominated to some degree, but being left with an outlet to make excuses and offload their anger onto the enemy player. beyond this theres also the total social disconnect of you not even caring about the result of the games. even if they didnt get mad, their reactions to winning or losing are probably pretty foreign to someone who just uses the mode to warm up their aim

my question is less "why are ppl who play MGE as a hobby so mad all the time?" and more "what makes ppl play MGE as a hobby?"
cos tell me you wouldnt be a bitter and angry person too if you primarily played MGE as a hobby
