i have a 27" 1440p and a 24" 1080p. ive also used a 30" 1440p and a 32" 1440p for work
imo 24" is ideal for gaming, but 27" has been completely fine as well. 1440p is preferable in every single game ive played, and if u want to minmax ur csgo screen space then ur probably ready to change your game resolution
this might have changed in the past few years, but at least for my monitors the 27" can only support 144hz over DisplayPort, which is why i use it as my main monitor for games anyway
outside of gaming, 27" is an immense upgrade, even if youre not doing higher density tasks. the 30" was also really nice, but i cant recommend going bigger than that on 1440p unless you want to do coding on a single monitor or something
from what ive seen of 4k/5k monitors i would recommend at least a 30" screen
so theres just fewer maps and you play 2 of them twice and also you dont get to know what 1/3 of the pool is until halfway thru the season? just seems a little overly complicated, and i cant rly figure out what problem its supposed to solve for non pick/ban divs
we in 2023 have a really strong pool of like 10-11 good maps to build an 8-map rotation from. why cut nearly half of them out just so we can play sunshine and snakewater twice a season?

cos u can just scrim at any time. default regional could be 930 still but if i wanted to play while working a night shift i could just scrim vs asiafortress teams
