How possible would it be to put the sniper scope stuff into a different HUD?

Getawhalekounterpartsimo, i think the reason there isnt much player (its not worship but I cant think of the right word). Is because the NA TF2 scene is so tight-knit, take for example if you love comp CS:GO and you meet someone like GeT_RiGhT you'd be like, holy shit, you youre awesome and super good. But with TF2 if you were to meet someone like b4nny youd be like oh shit, youre pretty alright, whats up. I dont know, there isnt much "stardom" in this community. And I think its better that way.
I think you're wrong - I think plenty of kids idolize these players.
It's worth noting that a fantasy league was proposed for UGC Plat Highlander, and it never quite took off. Code was written that parsed logs, but it never went very far and was quickly abandoned. Probably lack of interest.
I'm sure that if someone really wanted to do this for ESEA, though, and had the passion to make it work, they could. I just don't think it's going to make any money.
Some friends did a Plat Fantasy League, it fell apart because the logs weren't compatible with the code stuff.
Yeah, there was never any intention to rate all the teams in Platinum, just the Top 8.
edit: never mind see below
#6 To my understanding, Invite meant Skarlett couldn't play (and possibly overseer), Huey was moving, and people didn't want to play on Tangerine when it wasn't really Tangerine.
When can we expect the final word in how S18 will be structured?
I don't mean intricacies like the things you learn in IM, maybe basic stratagies [rollouts, heal order, focus fire] was a better word.
Maybe the point is to get beat down, but when the low Iron UGC people start joining ESEA first, not understanding why we don't play Lakeside and run Engineer to mid, then the standard changes from slow improvement to a consistent beating - if they even stay in the league.
The people coming from mid-high UGC, though, have spent 3-4 seasons playing the 6s format, maybe have a taste of true competitiveness, have a few friends to form the core of a team, and know when to, say, hold by choke on Gullywash as opposed to upper, and vice versa, or when to switch to Kritz, or when to run Sniper.
To be fair, downpour is correct, if there wasn't another league the only NA 6s league would be ESEA. However, I'd be surprised to see people actually joining into ESEA and staying in it, they'd maybe spend a season, perhaps two, and decide that spending the money to get trashed on weekly isn't a good use of their time/money. Why would new players be interested in joining a pay-to-play league for a format so completely different from what they've experienced, only to get absolutely decimated because they don't understand the intricacies of the 6s meta? With UGC at least you can understand what the classes do, why certain weapons are banned, how to play the maps, make friends, etc.
That seems like a horrible idea, considering TF2C is usually promoted as the one of the first stepping stones of competitive.
Yeah, he said on the lower-bracket finals pre-game that once Ginyu's out, he'd be finished with competitive, so it doesn't look like it's because Ginyu lost.
hewhoamareismyselfProps to Brooky for only being off by 2 rounds in his predictions. So many people expected Ginyu to roll, clearly that didn't happen.
To be fair I was also off by the victor.

because if not i'd really like to vote :(
Not publicly
Anyone can vote. But the admins may weigh votes based on experience/division
Thanks go to Seki as well for helping me with the content of this article.
this is cool, thanks megawac/vtable
I really like seeing ubercharge percent and name (Kritz/Uber), as well as map time left - those are just things I don't remember seeing 100% of the time that I feel are useful and minimally "invasive"
