So as it stands, yesterday's forum reorganization/fixing has apparently broken the backroom for articles. Meaning, the article is written and all, but will be released as soon as the backroom is fixed and I can get it coded and spruced up properly.

If that doesn't happen before whenever I go to sleep tonight, I'll consider just posting it as a thread and wait before I can change it over to an article post.

We're able to, I avoid it personally due to me primarily handling ESEA/NAHL, which has automatic site updates, so I can just open up the match link and immediately verify. I don't know how the EU admins prefer to verify, so I leave it to them and don't step on their toes.

So hi there, this'll probably/hopefully be the last note from me, aside responding to people, until the end of the season.

Once again, I'm stuck releasing this 2.5 hours earlier than normal schedule, as I simply wont be around at that time to do so.

I've thought about and tested various methods of doing the articles this season, and found that I preferred this one the best. The format, in case you're not quite sure what I'm referring to, is as follows.

A small intro transitioning from the previous week's article to this new week/map/article. Following that will be all the teams and their rosters, specifying roster changes and things like that. Then there will be a little bit about the MP race, and then the matches.

That should be about it. Enjoy the season, enjoy the casts, enjoy the articles - hopefully I won't need to post again until the end of the season!

Regarding the weird payout bugs, Cherry plans to attempt a fix on Saturday.

I feel like people are a lot less willing to shell out an extra 50 bucks just because there was a paragraph on iXX.tf saying "well this COULD be 100 dollars but we want to use money you donate to get people to Europe to do something else.

Remember the uncertainty when Shadowburn was confirmed unable to go to LAN? TLR was considering just refunding everyone because they would be taking money, some amount, dedicating to 'sdb@lan!' that was so hyped up, and just saying "yeah we'll just pick up some roamer who can pay their own way sry"

Now imagine that but the actual TF.TV run fundraisers?

Oh boy, new season! Sorry if the quality of this one isn't quite up to snuff, the season's begun while I am visiting family and having periods of no internet. (I couldn't even post this at the normal time because I wouldn't be there for it!)

With the dropping of a round robin system, I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing for weekly articles now that the introduction/speculation part is out of the way. That'll probably be something I mull over between now and next Sunday, so expect to see a standardized article set-up next week.

As for now, I'm glad to be back covering Platinum, and hope I can bring you enjoyable content. I hope you all enjoy the season!
