You guys are aware that players who played in invite 2 seasons ago and lost every game aren't on the same level as froyotech, right? Especially in TF2, invite slots are more pushed onto people than anything. I think if you're getting 5-0'd by washed-up barely-invite players in open, you would've been 5-0'd by aspiring players on top open teams.
These players also don't owe anyone anything. Is the argument that just because they happened to make the prestigious invite division at one point in the past that they're stuck paying $85 every season to get steamrolled? Maybe they want to play some semblance of competitive TF2 for a fair price with their friends while they juggle other life responsibilities?
Either you're playing for fun and you find the silver lining in your losses, or you're playing to get better at the game and you welcome new challenges. Choose one.
Any "meta" in this game would change naturally, whitelist or not, if there were reasons for any other team to put in as much effort as b4nny has
Hahahahahaha oh my god you guys are fucking HILARIOUs
IS ANYONE HERE HELLO LETS SHARE AN UBER
i've been caught
i was thinking about putting the time in to play again so i could mount a grand comeback and win the open tournament so i could use that cred to start a new invite team with aspiring players and finally escape the hell that is overwatch
I am not trolling. If anyone will be picking others up from LAX on Friday at ~2:15pm or is planning to shuttle, please let me know and contact me through tftv
hey i'll be at this lan
if anyone can pick me up or figure out other transportation options around 2:15pm LAX on the Friday that would be swell, please send me a direct message
cu
you're inferring that sending 1000 emails would have helped anyone else get in touch with them and it's conveniently being ignored that there were many attempts to create any sort of rapport from community members with valve and they failed
also, I am impartial to this entire process. I don't play this game and the 1 pug every 3 months I play will hardly be impacted by which weapons are allowed or disallowed. I'm arguing more with others' beliefs in mind, because it seems extremely dense to ignore what the majority of people want and resort to guilt-tripping to convince them otherwise. I find it extremely ironic that banny's alt (aimbotters) can mention democracy in any capacity and at the same time have the gall to pretend that the majority isn't in favor of any of these changes
there's also this unexplained dichotomy that no one seems to be addressing, where you either play TF2 for fun or for money. It seems doing things for money is looked down upon, but are you not essentially playing for money if you're playing for Valve's support? If not, wouldn't you just ban the items that make the game worse? It's unlikely that Valve will manage to release updates that make the game more competitive and more fun, given their track record and the number of employees even working on this game. So, if you're in support of whitelist changes, are you not sacrificing some of your enjoyment of the game to appease Valve for money?
anyway, I'd continue but my entitlement is starting to really burden my shoulders
crocodile tears
