What was your first experience in competitive TF2?

My local community have a 4v4 tournament, decided to create a team and join. Tournament died after, but I got picked up by another 4v4 team as medic and decided to join 6v6. I only played one match at the time due to me taking a break from gaming because my last exam on junior high. Fast forward some months or so I tried to create teams but folded shortly afterwards so I was teamless for some time. My first major game was at the AF MC7 week 1 vs. what would be the winner of the tournament, Club Penguin Crusaders. It did not went well and we folded shortly after our match. Now I am participating in UGC 4v4 lol, and going to play for the next major AF 6v6 cup.

That capsule-esque thing is probably is the same tech as I saw in Tracer's and Winston's primary. Both of them are utilized to reload or in other words, replenish their ammo or some sort. I'm thinking that Genji is technically is a cyborg and probably uses some sort at least energy, his ult probably uses most of it and the mechanism pops out to replenish his energy, but that's only my thoughts.

either stop having lans or stop casting them then? There's really not a problem here other than people complaining that they're having to pay out of pocket to fund a hobby no one is interested in. Complaining about the lack of money is pointless because you're not going to whine your way into making the people bankrolling the LANs continue to fund them. Valve very clearly doesn't care, and no one cares about TF2 because its boring to watch. If you want to have professional quality streams at LANs u need to pay for them. Trying to game sympathy dollars by mentioning how someone always has to foot the bill for Insomnia isn't going to make donations go up, its just going to make tf2 look even less professional. If people actually cared about tf2 the game would be popular, but its not. It just has people who care too much about a cartoon shooter propping it up financially in an unsustainable way hoping that this time it'll finally take off and people will get interested.

That's where you're kinda wrong. It was never a shitpost, It was never meant to be. You have to see the sides of the people who works on behind the scenes of competitive TF2. Content creators, journalists, casters, producers, streamers, all who dedicated their life to this game for this scenes apparent life. I saw at what cost they sacrificed their fortune to keep this scene rolling. I just joined the comp.tf team and I saw Kaneco have to juggle between his work and his own website, people starting to lose faith and hope to the game we all loved here. iSeries LAN is basically is the closest thing we have to a TF2 world champions and try as you might to find a better LAN with suffice facility, security, staff, and whatnot. Valve is handling the ball currently, and it's up to them what will they do to this game. They have been friendly and supportive to us and remember, we are talking about one of the smallest eSports scene out there, with a game thats almost clocks in a decade worth of lifetime with one of the unique gamemode and playerbase out there.
So, if you starting to lose faith on TF2 and the competitive scene, think the men, women who dedicate their life to keep this scene rolling, do what you can to help, and remember:
