#58 TF2 Streamers - Subscriptions in TF2 General Discussion
TwitchTVJohnOur standard requirements are 300 + concurrent viewers

There are a handful of people who actually already fit this category assuming they actually keep streaming a good amount (aka banny and ruwin)

Subs would be an interesting thing to see for tf2, but as is if you just want to support your favorite streamers it seems like donating directly is a better idea. Unless there's custom smileys or sub only stuff that people start doing (like sub only pugs or something) then there's little incentive to actually sub to someone other than out of the kindness of your heart. Not that that's necessarily bad or anything, but at least for diablo streams and things like that the streamers will do sub only events (giveaways, sub only boss runs, stuff like that), so it would be a good idea to think of something analogous in tf2 before you went ahead and invested the resources in it.

#11 help me configure qos in Hardware
zigzterAny recommendations?

DD-WRT seems to be pretty popular.

dd-wrt, openwrt, and tomato are the popular ones. I don't know if all three are gonna be compatible with your router since afaik it isn't very widely used.

#2 help me configure qos in Hardware

I'm assuming you just want to make it so people watching netflix or whatever doesn't make your computer lag, so you put in what your max upload and download speeds are in the bandwidth boxes and I'd probably just set the qos by mac address rather than dealing with ports so your computer's traffic just gets prioritized

You can look up how to find a device's mac address, just set the device's priority in the rule list and then lower down you set what % of the bandwidth you want each device/class to get

#30 Fully Charged! Europe: Episode 1 in Events

I prefer the graphic style you made for the eu fully charged to the na one, my only gripe is that I'd like to see a border of some sort on the webcams just because it feels really weird that they don't have one. Also, ipz and canfo being a few pixels lower than the other 2 cams is bugging me, but I'm assuming that's just a fault of this being put together in a rush or something.

#5 Need a demo/pocket in Recruitment (looking for team)

saying that they're mid im at this point would be a stretch, but it's realistically one of the few teams that could potentially contest pot's team in playoffs assuming they live up to the sum of their pieces

please don't make me keep playing

#10 Alternative Valve Support Ideas in TF2 General Discussion

mge died because of CB but that's an entirely separate discussion.

My real qualm with the whole argument about the tf2 team being limited and not wanting to pander to certain portions of the audience is mostly something like, what does the tf team actually do? I'm not saying that they don't do anything, but let's be honest - most of the updates now are almost entirely community created content, and their bug fixes come once in a blue moon and obviously aren't play tested half the time because it's hit and miss whether they even work. The team isn't ostensibly working on something else that's legitimately important, so I don't really see where the problem lies.
