It does, ive used it for a few days now.
They have always done this. They even did one for i46, the issue is that the real views from teamfortress.com come from the blog posts. When it comes down to views and likes (facebook etc) the news section is irrelevant.
I think having boxes around the head count for the chargin targe is also unnecessary. Using sword and shield with loose cannon creates a ton of clutter towards the center of the screen.
