so overclocking wouldn't have much effect? honestly a consistent 25 fps would be manageable for me since the game pretty much aims for you, the dips to 5 fps are killing me though. (i should have mentioned this in the original post)

joddyou set everything to low, turned off the FPS cap and set your in-game resolution to reflect your monitor's hertz, right?
yeah, i use the asus 144 hz.

whats killing my fps in overwatch [gpu or cpu?]

I've had this rig since 2007, excluding the replacement GFX card after my 8800GT blew up, and my knowledge of parts is sparse.
My frames in Overwatch range from 5 FPS to 30 FPS randomly. Average is around 25 FPS.
My Rig:
- E8400 duel core 3.0 GHz
- Nvidia GTX 460 SE
- 4 Gigs of RAM
Can i get away with just upgrading to a new GFX card?
Or is my processor too weak sauce for Overwatch?
Or both :(
Is overclocking an option? (I'm hesitant because of summer weather) but I'm also not trying to spend a fortune.

Wisdom Teeth removal

been over a year since i had my lower and upper right wisdom teeth removed by a dentist (not a surgeon). still have slight nerve damage on the right side of my mouth/tongue making it hard for me to taste/chew on that side. never got my left side taken out...
note that my wisdom teeth were fully grown in when i got them removed and i was only numbed during the removal...although this was probably a freak accident, i'd definitely recommend a surgeon for those who's wisdom teeth are fully grown in...
