Starkiethe mid to 2nd stalemate on logjam is the stuff of nightmares. if we have to have a bad map in the pool could it not at least be an untested map so something good comes from it
hyce is quite open to changing things about the map and i believe he's working on a new version based on feedback from ozf and etf2l
worth a try i guess but i agree 2x sunshine 1x metalworks for now
i don't actually see what was wrong with the season 31 map pool (process, gully, snake, viaduct, sunshine, badlands, granary) but if we have to have other maps i'd suggest having a slot that gets rotated every season and a map rota to fill it. this way everyone at least knows the maps that could be in the map pool earlier than the preseason cup of every season.

Cyanic, I understand the hindrances hence it would have been cool to find a workaround because the first impression is the most important, and this 5 fps isn't really helping with it
The res is no biggie, though having black bars with pov, in my opinion, doesn't look good. Still, my opinion after all
For transitions I meant more cins between pov frags, could have added really cool black bar animations with 16:9 footage

Fair enough. I wasn't really going for a full edit anyway - more just a fragvid with some added flair ya know. re: the black bar animations - I personally really dislike the animated black bars and probably won't use them.

Rest is good
it can be hard to maintain 60fps when i'm trying to record a cinematic of a still moment, especially because SFM dies if you make the scale of a clip too small. I'm sure there's a solution to this - I just haven't found it yet.
To be honest I recorded the video in 21:9 because i have a 21:9 monitor and wanted to make something I could use my whole monitor to watch lol.
I'm still getting used to making cool transitions so some of them may seem slightly janky if that's what you mean. Feel free to elaborate though.

jnkiCyanici was actually watching the badlands i40 grand final stv demo(2010) a few months ago, and it still workedglitturei thought you guys were going to get the stv and recast the match with new casters and a new hud but it ended up being just a rerun of the i46 cast lol
stv demos from that time definitely wouldn't work properly nowadays
in fact, even completely new feature like match hud worked
the issue is working properly not working at all - viewmodel animations are probably screwed and modern plugins like castingessentials probably wouldn't work. then again i could be totally wrong and this could only apply to POVs
having dxlevel in my launch options used to cause issues like that for me. what are your launch options?
