So I got a new laptop a few weeks ago and I can't seem to get decent fps watching twitch streams, especially on chrome. When I am in fullscreen I get about 10-18fps and about 30fps when not in fullscreen. I get about 30-40fps in Edge but it has no adblock.
My old laptop had no issues getting a constant 60fps so I am really kerfuffled!
Specs New:
i7-6700hq
8gb ram
gtx960m 4gb
4k screen.
Old:
i7-3710q
8gb ram
gtx660m
I thought it might be the screen resolution is too high and the laptop couldn't handle it but I get the same issue if I am in 1920x1080 mode.
I tried incognito mode to see if it was an extension or anything and no luck. I changed my HDD to a SDD (so a fresh install) and no luck.
I tried forcing nvidia control panel to use the gtx960 in chrome and nadda.
Reinstalled flash and nadda.
If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it, otherwise I might just return the damn thing
