the hell am I looking at? HUD is so cluttered I wouldn't be able ot make out any piece of information accurately if a lot of it seems dynamic by moving around the screen a lot.

Being a speaker and forced to not be shy, a lot of these tips are valid and some of them have even worked for me; trying to get out of stage freight and whatnot. Though some are really counter-intuitive like practicing in mumble, don't do this. The whole face-to-face, need somebody to look at is a big key in helping you get over social anxiety. Do it in a mirror, see what you look like. You need to be comfortable with what you are doing, and if you ever feel like you're about to lose control over anything, sink your shoulders a bit and put weight in your feet. You'll be less likely to be roaming around or jiggling any part of your body taking away from the actual presentation. The major things people are scared about when thinking about a presentation are:
-Forgetting what they're presenting
-Looking like an idiot.
Both kind of bounce off each other in some respects. Study your poem, say it in your head walking in the halls and walk with confidence and purpose. This reinforces your emotions a bit, and it really helps. What Bentomat says, nobody really gives a damn about your presentation, is pretty much true. Don't think this is something you're doing to impress people and get a blowjob for. It's just you talking for a minute. People put too much thought in "What would people think..." or "What if..." when in front of a crowd. Nobody is expecting anymore than some words to come out of your mouth, so just give them what they want.
You won't notice the minor refresh increase at all. Widescreen is pretty nice, I wouldn't go back to my old 19" over my 23". As long as you're comfortable concentrating on your screen and can see everything at a decent distance form your screen, use whatever works for you.
Damn if my school didn't start the day before, I'd try and make it to this :(
Hedgecocks.
You will know.
I'm in the same boat for procrastinating, but I'm getting better. Senior year of high school, and I've powered through Freshman-Junior and have maintained A's and B's with a good GPA. Now, I just don't give a fuck. I was most productive when my HDD failed and it took awhile to pick out a new SSD to stick with. Basically away from anything computer for awhile helped a lot. I noticed this and haven't bothered to install any game but TF2 and one or two others I occasionally play as a time killer. Video games and this competitive environment can stress you out and pull you into a server and stay there wasting away time day after day if you're not careful. I also motivate myself by comparing my grades from my best semesters to my current bad semester grades. I just tell myself "Why the fuck can't I do that again? Oh wait it's because of X... Well, I'm going to will myself to stop that and avoid it." Tends to work most of the time for me. Also, getting a goal to set each day or week really helps. You also just have to go do it. I love this saying "Nobody is going to pay you for what you could have done." Gets me doing stuff instantly.
4v4 KOTH random class on death was the most entertaining way to play for me.
I can imagine seanbud, Lange, TrukTruk's stream being a data hog. They stream daily and long periods at that at high quality. Whereas, I think somebody like Tagg streams every now and then with some decent, watchable video quality. I'd expect it to be a lot of data depending on how much you're streaming.
Someone in this thread is wrong. Tune in at 11 to find out!
I personally didn't mean anything to be hurtful and I apologize if what I added hurt you by touching on a sensitive issue with yourself. After what I said, I had explained I picked you in the pug but apparently you left the server and mumble just before I did. And it seemed like that night with xensity we were all poking fun of each other just because a lot of the people in the mumble that night have known each other prior and haven't talked to each other in awhile. Basically guys being guys, and verbally bumping shoulders. Hell, we talked about somebody's asshole the following night. Yes, you do have a history, and it will always be seen as liability; but when you receive support like this, I don't think you should really be hanging onto it yourself. Accept that you did anything you did in the past, and move along; scenarios like this where you're doubting yourself will really run deep. Apologies if anything hurt you while in the xensity mumble.
weird, quite the opposite happens to me. I have it set to 0 on dx9, everything looks normal.
I challenge him to a sims game on a 4 player family with a 2 job limit handicap; all wishes must be fulfilled. Take it stevec, I dare you.
