played The Orange Box when it came out, then a year or two later asked my parents for a PC and bought TF2 with it.
Played PC only because I looked up videos on how to play, found OMFGNinja's videos and saw it was way smoother and he was doing such cool stuff as spy at the time. My 2nd day browsing the community server list, I found a couple of guys in cp_gravelpit alone that had the XLR8 tag on; I joined and wanted to ask how to play. I mentioned I saw their tags in his videos and that's what drew me in. They picked me up as soldier after playing with them enough and then I cemented my future to being a fucking idiot online.

lmao, chill dude
i was kidding, i know you're legit cause i would shit on you in mge. i thought i even liked you because you're pretty solid but wow you are insecure as fuck to go out of your way to my stream and tell me what i already know like it's supposed to put me down or something.
you went out of your way to post on a forum about how much you don't care being called bad at a game and telling me how you shat on me in MGE? Make sure you include a personal attack next tho, that's more fun to watch people mald about
LOOL yea I mean idk where the moral highground is coming from when you haven't done shit in half a decade of playing this game, if you didn't care why even reply to my petty ass comment?
Let's all chill. I replied because I thought you have thicker skin than this and could think it as a joke/compliment because you're really good and always thought you were (guess our time together in invite pugs didn't mean shit to you) and usually hope to see your opinion on matters because you usually cut through the shit real well and keep the discussion from getting too stupid. Am really disappointed in your fragility as a higher rated player in our shared ecosystem I have stake in participating and building too. I've sponsored teams silently, provided resources for those who can't fully enjoy this game like others can and donate to those I think are carrying the weight of TF2 right now. I don't play anymore, my time is over. If yours isn't, great. I'm glad to see oldies still doing the dance.
There's so many players in the top circuit now that I vividly remember being noobs when we were both in invite so don't act like we haven't met eye to eye at one point or another and all of a sudden use my absence as your platform to act like I don't deserve to banter with you.

it's haha epic funny to dunk on alfa but he didn't say this in his post
for sure, but it was both a joke and an honest insight. what does alfa know that everybody else might not? if he thought i was calling him out, time to review his demos i'd say.

for real, i'll play here instead of casual cya in competitive 12v12 dustbowl
my favorite quotes from meet the team videos, because it's like I'm playing as the character in the video don't come at me
sniper rifle name : "I think your mate saw me..."
desc: "Yes, yes he did!"
piratethe pub community's sense of humor is god awful and not funny at all

Met Kevin at GXL '17? '16? I let the production team use my rig to host the stream while I relayed messages to the teams. Kevin was doing a bit of everything to make sure everybody can enjoy TF2, and he still is in so many more thoughtful and useful ways. If anyone deserves to be recognized it is without a doubt KevinIsPwn.

i took medkit from med i knew was low and i wasn't and they died soon after :(
Do I know their HP? If so, shoot the weakest.
If I don't then shoot the closest.
Player that sees you, you should assume you've been seen and called out anyway so taking a "surprise" shot isn't really a surprise shot. You just ate bait if you don't kill one or the other.
i forgot to troll, just shoot your fucken self u nerd
Basically, these scams have been around since the first nude was sent over the pipe.
They have been using bolder and different approaches though. You kind of have to not have a life to keep up with it, so don't feel too bad people who have more time on their hands are a little bit more aware of the meta in scamming. Times change. People don't. There is just more scammers out there now and you gotta deal with it.
There are a ton of legitimate sites out there using steam API, so naturally the attempts to feel like a legitimate site are getting easier and easier. I thought steam would have been on top of this myself. But, that's how I was almost got too.
