Changing your sens frequently will make you feel like you are hitting more shots because you will be hitting different shots. Say you play on a really low sens and can't really hit flick shots well. If you switch to a higher sens you will probably hit flick shots better but you might miss the shots that require more precise movement or tracking. It's best to just stick with one sens enough that you can hit any shot with it. If you look through top players in any game they usually don't change their settings much.
You could try using mouse accel if you feel like no sens fits what you like. Just make sure you are using windows accel and not the accel in engine because source engine accel is inconsistent and relies on fps.
