The joke is that by being able to jump higher the scout must either inherit some other aspects of being a black person or outright become a black person.

Saw this reddit post about what's going on with the flare gun's minicrits, seems to make sense to me
/u/Gamecube762There is a ladder system for determining which crit-type to deal damage. It goes as this:
- FullCrits
- MiniCrits
- NoCrits
If you have no crits, but hit a target marked for minicrits, it will do minicrits. If someone is marked for mini, but you are doing FullCrits, then it will do FullCrits.
The current ladder since the update:
- MiniCrits
- FullCrits
- NoCrits
Dealing Critical to a target marked for mini will deal mini instead of Critical. This breaks headshoting, flare-gun, kritzkrieg while a banner is out, etc.

Also this means if you buff banner next to a sniper he won't be able to get headshots which is pretty hilarious.

samifacea few things i wanted to mention in reading these posts- there are a lot of people playing beta who are not big streamers. the friends and family brings in a lot of casual players... most of the friends i've played with have been on maybe 2-3 hours then stopped. i guess my point is that not necessarily everyone in the beta will be interested in a competitive aspect.
i will though :D
How many people that you know got in? None of my irl friends, none of my tf2 friends, and (according to him) none of my brothers friends got in. I had just assumed that they basically let nobody in except streamers but maybe I am just surrounded by unlucky people.

How can you guys have this mindset while spending tons of your free time advertising the competitive scene of an 8 year old game? By that logic, getting into tf2 would be absolutely impossible at this point.
Getting into high level tf2 is quite difficult, nobody denied that. If you want to play invite but don't know any circlejerks you will need to spend 1/2 seasons just to get an invite roster and then you will need to find a few pretty good players who aren't already on a team. But at least that is justifiable because the game has been out so long.

most games have tournaments in closed beta, but this one does seem rather fast especially considering the number of people that aren't streamers that appear to have gotten in (there is no hard data on it so I am hesitant to say that the majority of players are streamers, but it does seem like there are far more streamers relative to players so far in Overwatch than in most games in closed beta anecdotally)
